The annual Heritage Cup tournament was held the weekend of Sept. 16-18, 2011.  As in past years, Team Glenview faced off against Team Englehart over two days of matches.  Day 1 consisted of 2-man teams playing 9 holes of best ball and 9 holes of alternate shot formats.  Day 2 was 18 holes of singles match play.  At conclusion of play, Team Glenview were the clear overall winners, scoring 37 1/2 points over the 28 1/2 points acquired by Team Englehart.

Always an enjoyable weekend of friendly competition and camaraderie, we were blessed by great weather to boot.  A delicious steak dinner capped the weekend.

And of course the real winner was the Petrolia Food Bank to which the event has donated every year.  Each competitor brought donations of non-perishable food.  Shown at right are Frank Egan, Brian Edgar (Investors Group), Randy Clark (Ron Clark Motors), Rick Podolinsky (Podolinsky Farm Equipment Ltd.), Gary Luckhurst (Skyway Canada), Brian McManaman (Petrolia Food Bank), Heritage Cup organizer Paul Bolton, and Brian Hind (Investors Group).
